NGOs claim killed 34 people in southern Syria and discovery of mass grave
CAIRO, Egypt (EFE) .- At least 34 people have died in the last five days in the southern city of Dera Syria, where today they have discovered a mass grave containing an unknown number of dead, denounced an opposition group.
The National Organization for Human Rights in Syria said in a statement released today the identities of the 34 dead and did not rule out that more bodies are found on farms of corn and the trees.
In Deraa, there are several families of deceased have yet to recover the bodies of their relatives because of the security cordon imposed by police and snipers in different parts of the city, adds.
In addition, a mass grave was discovered this morning in this town, the epicenter of the riots in Syria, but the authorities have fenced the place and have banned the return of the bodies to their families.
The organization blamed opposition to the Syrian authorities responsible for what he called "crimes"committed against the citizens and asked the international community to pressure the Syrian regime.
Yesterday, seven people were shot dead by police officers and soldiers in the city of Tel Kalaja, in the province of Homs, near the border with Lebanon, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on its website, citing an activist without identify.
The repression of political protests, which began in mid-March, to this day has caused the death of 734 civilians and 123 military and police, according to the Observatory Sirio. EFE
